Our Story

Growers are at the center of what we do.

Based in the American West, we spent a year traveling farms before building anything. We rode along in grower’s trucks, walked their fields, pet their dogs, and spoke for hours on their porches to learn what keeps them up at night. Then we built a team that’s determined to save humanity and got to work.

Agriculture faces unprecedented challenges from the changing landscape, water cycle, and market forces. Creating data for macro-level decision making is where we’re focused, to help food production scale and adapt. We’re first in a space we call Farm Strategy Information Software (FSIS), creating a new category of AgTech data.

Cloudseed’s pilot users are identifying new ways to improve food production using our proprietary crop and land suitability scores. So they can plant smarter, make wiser land acquisitions, scale, and gain more control than they’ve ever had before.
