Our Story

Data is reshaping how we grow food and manage water at a global scale

We started in the American West, not in an office. Before writing a single line of code, we spent a year traveling farms. Riding along in growers’ trucks, walking their fields, petting their dogs, and listening on porches late into the night about what keeps them up. We did the same with water managers across the West Coast, from the Columbia River Basin to the Salton Sea. Then continued into Europe. What we found were critical gaps in information. Gaps that today’s emerging technology can finally fill. That’s why we built a team determined to solve one of humanity’s most urgent challenges.

The intersection of food and water faces unprecedented strain from climate change, shifting water cycles, and volatile markets. We exist to create the data that decision-makers need to adapt and scale food production on a macro level.

We call this new category Farm Strategy Information Software (FSIS), the first of its kind. With our proprietary crop and land suitability scores, customers are planting smarter, making better land acquisitions, scaling with confidence, and gaining control they’ve never had before.
