SF World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit Highlights

We had a great conference, thanks World Agritech Innovation Summit in San Francisco! Loved the frenetic energy of so many creative and passionate people working to rapidly adapt agriculture for mounting pressures using technology. Talks spilled out of the conference rooms, into the lobby atrium, and across the street. We pitched on stage. Met fascinating individuals, NGOs, investors, and companies doing great work.

Tightening labor, market conditions, data vacuums, thinning margins, geopolitics, and the changing climate. Problems old and new but this was a very different conference for us than London 18 months ago. We found ourselves in the right place at the right time with the right product.

And because we love the outdoors here at Cloudseed, we spent some time at the nearby Palace of Fine Arts where we found this large Oregon Grape! Yes, the berries are edible. Its native range is British Columbia to Northern California so San Francisco is on the fringe. Let’s see how this species migrates.
