Unexpected Ag encounter- saw bergamot (citrus family) growing for the first time outdoors in Todos Santos, Mexico! Not a food crop but widely used in fragrances as a fresh, earthy, spicy tone. If you squeeze the fruit, it emits a scented oil through the peel. Delightful. Note to add it to our suitability model to see if it will grow in our backyards
