California - Faster Than Expected

CA near Sacramento

We’ve made many trips to California, but this one was different. A new sense of urgency, with things happening faster than expected. The water and land value effects of SGMA emerging in the Central Valley, the scale of profitable farming growing rapidly, extreme heat in October. With a changing administration, talks of tariffs and labor and what that means for the Ag community (specifically the small grower).

But we see opportunity. To optimize land utility. Keep it productive. Identify new crop opportunities and new land plays as viable ranges shift. We’re creating data in places it’s never existed before, and we’re excited to translate it for the world.
